September Meeting moved to Monday the 8th! Be sure to read the Forum Rules before posting
Time to get accommodations locked in for Moab/Fruita. After getting a decent idea of how many people are going, I'll look into our options and report back costs, etc., then ask for a final commitment before making reservations.
Short description: Leave QC on morning of Saturday October 4 and head to Moab. Ride, HFDB, Sleep, Repeat. Leave ~ Thursday or so for Fruita. Ride, HFDB, Sleep, Repeat. Return to QCA on Sunday October 12.

I'm going to do everything I can to get that off. That picture is unbelievable. If I pass this up I dont deserve to have my bike.

I've been asked for a wild-sorta-scientific-speculative-guess on trip costs. I looked up some lodging info, did some ciphering, and figure if we have 10 people go it looks like we'll be around $300 each person for Fuel and Lodging. I'll let you all figure whatever for food and beverages.
(fine print: This is based on using two vehicles [traveling 2800 miles at 15mpg, $4/gal], one night in Dillon on the way out [3 rooms], cabins in Moab and Fruita, and a motel somewhere on the way back.)
For a gut-check, it cost Dave, Garrick and I $230 each in 2006. One room/cabin, one pickup, $2.35/gal

So cheap, you can't afford not to go. Moab, baby...
Was that $300 with 2 zeros?
You got it, Three Bens for gas and lodging.
Like I said, you can't afford not to go!
