Man, wish I could.  Not sure I'll be at the mtng either.  Got some other stuff to attend to.  Take a lap and drink a cool one for me!

I thought I heard someone mention that one of the bike shops would rent the necessary lights for a night ride.  Is there any truth to this?  If so, where do I go to get the goods? 

If not, exactly what is needed for a night ride and how much should I expect to shell out for the equipment?  If I'm going to spend the money anyway, I want the good stuff, so let me know what is recommended if someone has time.

I don't know if any of the shops will loan you a light or not...  Healthy Habits has the best selection of lights in the QC (that I've found anyway).  You can spend anywhere form $50-$500 on them.  I have tried to stay in the 200-300 range for myself and have been very happy with what I have.

I would be happy to loan you a setup of mine, but the extra is in for warranty replacement.

DUDE!  you have to be loving warranties!  it seems like every other week you have something in on warranty replacement!

I won't be at the meeting but I am definitely down for the ride!  I did a night ride last night...it felt amazing!

ya, because I have to lie about a night ride to feel "cool" like you
