I would be up for heading down there if there was anyone else that wanted to share a ride.  I was thinking about going down Saturday and camping.  I have all neccessary camping equipment, including a couple extra tents.  I haul it all in a small utility trailer that I can also carry two bikes on, anything with a hitch can pull this little trailer.  However I don't currenly have access to vehicle with a hitch.  Eric

I am definitely heading to Kickapoo.  I'll have my hitchless Ridgeline (Hey, it's a city truck) and I am probably going down on Saturday morning to stop in to see some family in Champaign.  However, my plans could change and I'll end up camping or going down on Sunday morning.  Clearly, I don't know any details.  I just know I'm going.

From the sound of things last night at SCP, we should have a decent presence at this race.  Who else is making the trip?

NewForcer, I am heading down to see Neiswender so I'm sure you will be more than welcome to ride along if you want to go down a day early.

Boys, I'm headed back to the Yukon...

I plan on heading down on Saturday as well and camping.  The Taming of the Slough is on Saturday morning so I may do that and then head down.  Car pooling would be ideal.

I only race to beat Andrew...

Leaving Saturday after Taming of the Slough would work for me.  I would even do Taming of the Slough if someone was wanting to ride in my canoe with me.  However it all seems that last year everyone learned that canoes are VERY slow.

My Civic gets good mileage, but not much room, and my bike rack is cheap(scratches the crap out of everything).   Eric

I am planning on going somehow...

Cannady, what's your specific plan for that Saturday?  What time are you wanting to leave?  Would you be willing to camp Sat. night after visiting Brian?  Anything else planned for that day?

Later,  Nate

I am in.  We need to hammer out the details on who is driving and when.  I am planning on doing the taming of the slough on saturday and can go saturday night or sunday morning.  Lets get a bunch of people to go so we can represent forc well.  Post up so we can get some numbers.   Ryan

I'm in can go Saturday or Sunday. If it were up to me lets go Saturday to avoid the long drive before the race.

You know you're drunk when you fall down and you can't hold onto the ground
