September Meeting moved to Monday the 8th! Be sure to read the Forum Rules before posting
For beginners and veterans alike- The Chill Ride is on!! Weather permitting, every Thursday starting today until the FORC Side Thrill Ride on July 13th, a practice course will be set up at Sunderbruch park with an optional race etiquette discussion and open riding starting at 6:00 pm.
Riders are encouraged to ride the course as laid out for safety since there may be inexperienced riders finding out how much fun our sport is for the 1st time!
Mountain Bike Patrol will be on the trails in the event of breakdowns or injuries. Any rider leaving after 8:00 pm is on their own with the clean up lap starting at 8:10. Persons signing the waiver will recieve a Free Sunderbruch Trail Map.
And BYOB for the official "telling of lies" session that will follow in the parking lot.
Know someone who has been thinking about trying Mountain Biking? This is where to do it!!
Thanks to everyine who came out last night! A couple of new riders that missed the 101 showed up and had a blast.
Hopefully the weather will hold out for our other events. I thought we'd be rained out so I didn't put a ton of effort into getting the word out. My bad, the trails are in GREAT SHAPE!! Considering they withstood a spring this wet, topped of by a 4.5 inch rain last weekend, it shows that FORC members built them right!!! Nice job to everyone! -Vibrato
Last night was SO fun and the trails were remarkable! Nothing says it better than well-built trails that can withstand the cyclone we had last week! And, the hours of weed wacking, tree trimming, etc. y'all did the other night was sure evident. Beautiful! Ray Ray, the Chill Ride was very enjoyable. Great diea! A toast: Here's to many more Chill Rides!! Cheers!
FORC rocks!
Ok, where are all the details? I gave posters to the area bike shops but I wanted to copy and paste the same poster info on LAMBA too.
