All John and I have to say is WOW!  We rode Scott County Park today and LOVED it!  It's flowing and fun.  The new section from the trail head that you just cut in last week is going to be very fun to wind through once it smooths out and the scenery is magnificent (especially in the field with the tall grasses)!  As I was riding through there today, I was imagining how beautiful it will be at Fall with the change of leaf colors.  Thanks so much for all your hard work.  The trails were really fun and it's exciting to have a new local place to ride!

ps:  No flat tires.  ~YAY~

Poofy and I joined HJ and bexter, and we had a royal blast!!  Brand new trails are always a little rough, but when these babies get beat into submission from the riders sure to enjoy them- they're gonna be most excellent AND will rival the best trails in the area. If Scott ends up with 15+ miles of trail this fun to ride- they're gonna have to create more camping space!!

Super Sweet Job by the Scott County Trail Crew!!

I was out for my first full trip around the SCP trails yesterday.  What a great time.  Thank you so much to the Scott County Park crew that created these trails.  I am a new member of FORC (since June), but I am grateful to have an organization in the QC that can make this stuff happen.  (And not just the trails, but all the politics that go along with them!)

Thanks to Mark for showing Sarah and me around at an unbearably slow pace.  (Sarah's a little skiddish, but I'm just happy to get her out with me every once in a while.)  Mark, you're a patient man.

Also, thanks for the map that was posted to the site last week.  It was very helpful in getting me aquainted before actually riding.  (On that note...can we update the map that is at the trail head and ranger station?  We wouldn't want equestrians to mistake bike trails for horse trails!  If there is anything I can do to help facilitate this and future updates, let me know.)

Anyway, I was thrilled with my ride yesterday and can't wait to get out there and do it again.  Faster, next time.

Here's to good weather this week!

Sorry we do not have access to the Parks kiosk or I would put up our map. Thanks for the comments, looking forward for more rides and rides out there!

Oh geez!  We rode Scott County Friday night and that new section that finishes out the North loop is the bomb!  Awesome!      Thanks TCC for all your hard work and vision!

ya, SCP is really turning out nice.  Thank you to everyone on the TCC and everyone else who contributed to get the trails in rideable condition!  SCP already has 6.5 miles with more to come.  The lil 'ol QC has some pretty sweet riding...much thanks to FORC!!!
