I spoke with Dan Sherman from Dav. Parks last night-he lives about a block from us.  We were talking about bike riding and I casually brought up SB Park, and how there are no trash barrels down there.  He did remember that the race is this w/e, and that he had told us he would get some cans down there.  So hopefully, planting a bug  in his ear will be enough to get us some trash cans before the race.  I am a strong believer in Plan B's, however, so I t/w someone who has a couple of 55 gal. metal drums w/lids available.  If we do not see any Park cans down there by Friday, then we can get these-Scot & I can haul them in the Growler. 

I also spoke with the Sign Dept. at City of Dav., and the "Make it Yours" clean-up signs are in.  The person in Signs had talked with Paul Eickhoff in Parks.  Paul thought the sign should go by the kiosk, but we think that more people will see it if it is closer to Telegraph.  Sign Dept  will try to strike a balance, and get it hung today or Thursday.
