I love the Enduro concept...wish we had the terrain to pull an Enduro event off.

Hey Yoopers, getting close. Here's the 'Manual' for Gnome Fest. Important point to remember- no water is available at the camp.

As always, it was a great time. Great friends, awesome trails, new destinations, way to much food, never enough beer.

    New trails rode:
    Swedetown, Calumet, MI
    South trails, Marquette, MI
    Nine Mile Forest, WI

    Brew pubs visited:
    Brickside Brewery, Copper Harbor
    Red Jacket Brewing Company, Calumet
    Keweenaw Brewing Company, Houghton
    The Veirling, Marquette
    The Ore Dock, Marquette
    Black Rocks, Marquette
    Jasper Ridge, Ishpening

Left a few trails for next time but won't leave a brew pub hanging.

It was a great time, rode my bike in the woods, rode my bike in Lake Superior, good times. Thanks AG for all the planning!

Awesome! I will bring some hot chocolate and marshmallow vodka as well..... Might be chilly Sunday morning. You name the time. I loved Sunderbruch the one time I rode there..

Hi - I'm getting packed up for the weekend. Just wanted to make sure the trails will be open Sunday. We have had quite a bit of rain here.....

My crystal ball has always been cloudy but I'm guessing something will be open.

We are planning on having a group ride at Illiniwek Sunday. If we don't get any more rain tomorrow I expect the trails will be dry enough to ride. Check out the details here: http://www.qcforc.org/showthread.php...21-Oct-11-00AM

I don't feel very confident that Sunderbruch will be rideable come tomorrow morning.......

Illiniwek was slimy today at the work day. Some friends had planned to come up from Peoria tomorrow to ride and I just sent them a message that I think the trails won't be ready. :( It's a close call. Who knows what today's sun will do.
    I wanna ride!

Deb and I went over to the park about 4:30 and the trail were in good shape. She said they were much better than this morning. I would say, at Illinwek at least they will be good for riding by tomorrow.
