We are going have the trail days on Saturdays at the moment because it seems to work best for the people we have had a chance to discuss it with. However, that may change in the future. There will also be some work days happening during the week in the evenings so pay attention for announcements. We are also in the process of purchasing a set of hand tools for Westbrook for the work days so those who don't have the proper tools can also pitch in.

102 Loop - Dirtwork and clearing

We had a great turnout Saturday despite the frigid temps (20F with the wind-chill falling into the single digits). This might be the coldest trail day FORC has ever had? It wasn't cold once we started working which was a good motivator to keep going. I also learned that building berms in these temps can be tricky. Working extra fast is needed to keep the dirt from freezing before getting it compacted.
