Anyone know of any mtb races in April? Trying to find a replacement for the dearly missed Sylvan island race.

You'd understand if you know what I was talking about.
Whiskey 50
Bit of a drive though.

Decorah Time Trails April 26th

Someone posted this on the IMBCS Facebook page a couple months ago. Excellent reference for races in the region.

Decorah Time Trials was a blast. The trail system in Decorah is very well designed, with a tremendous amount of climbing, and a lot of technical challenge. The race was 8.75 miles, but plenty hard for a short course. I've ridden the Whiskey 25 and 50, and the effort level of this race was comparable with the Whiskey 25. They have a good mountain bike club there, very similar to ours, and have done a lot of trail work in the Palisades park area. I'm planning to return next year. For me, the singlespeed was a bad idea. I didn't see too many there, but did see a lot of fat bikes.

DHPT is a very close knit and strong club. They do great work.
I'm really hoping to get up there for a ride this year.
"ya, well...that's like...your...opinion. man."
