"ya, well...that's like...your...opinion. man."
Ok Westy. Waaaaaay too far.
For anyone who isn't scared to go camping now, I found a place about five miles from the Holiday Inn. It's called Tourist Park. I got a place booked thru Friday and they have many more sites with electric available. Tent sites are all booked up.
I may have to grow old, but I'll never have to grow up.
I'm going to camp at Copper and Marquette, hopefully the Hodags don't get me

Let me interrupt the flurry of innuendo for a moment.
I am heading up with Russ on Thursday and planning on tagging along for the long trip. Was opting to camp in Marquette but the only close campground may already be booked for that time. I might need in on the hotel reservation (preferably sharing a room to keep costs down) but don't know for certain yet. Just to confirm, $125 is the cost per person for three nights at the hotel if we cram 4 people into one room?
As you were.
Until I get a solid number on how many are going and who is staying in a hotel it's kinda hard to get a price. But the last 3 years thats about what it's come to.

Just got room pricing back. $95.00 per night. With 4 per room $71.25 per person.

AG, please put me on the list for a hotel room in Marquette, the campsites are full. I'd like to split a room with peeps if its not too late to do that, thanks.
Done

I don't think I've posted up yet...just been talking! Andy & I are in for the long trip. Can't wait!
Klunk and I are in. Following you up thursday morning and returning Wednesday from Marquette.
Trip is shaping up nicely. Looks like we have 19 confirmed and 14 going to Marquette. There are still several on the fence which really doesn't matter unless you need a place to stay in Marquette. As always really looking forward to hanging at with every one.

Amber and I get back to Copper Thursday midday, so 2 more for camping & debauchery through the fest, limping for home Monday the 1st.

I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl!

"Every one of you should ride a bike and be yourself. I really and truly believe that bikes make the world better, and that anyone who spends some time getting used to life on the saddle will find that it makes their life and the world that their life is locked to, better; in almost every way." -Gern Blanston, Surly Bikes
After re-reading this highly entertaining thread, I realized the browns never posted that we are in for the long trip. So, we are in for the long trip. There, that's better.
Browns are going? Now it's a party!!

I am about 90% sure I will not be needing the hotel room at this point.
Looks like I can do a short trip now. Is anyone going up on Thursday night or Friday morning that I could ride with or would want to ride with me? Clutch
