FORC'n Duro 2018

The 4th annual FORC'n Duro is coming up soon on August 25th. If you plan to attend, please mark "Going" on the Facebook event:

If you're not on Facebook, you can post in this thread. We'll know how much food and snacks to get to support the riders if we know about how many people are attending. We had 36 riders do some part of it last year, with 18 finishing. It'd be great to get a few more riders this year.

I am looking for volunteers to mark the trails prior to the event. I attached the signs we used last year. Please let me know if you can help with this and what parks you'll cover. I got a few volunteers at the meeting last night:

Bill - we'll be riding from Sylvan before Stephens and then back to Sylvan after. Is the entrance off 4th Street the easiest to come in and go off of?

Yes there is . I suggest using the lower 4th st entrance, doing the loop then exiting at the same place. I will setup signage accordingly.

Mother nature has spoken... With all the rain this morning and more coming, this weekends 'n Duro is postponed for 2 weeks. It will either be on Saturday the 8th or Sunday the 9th. If you have a strong opinion for either of these 2 days, let us know. We'll firm this up in a few days.

On the bright side, you've got some more time to train, so get some miles in.

Hoping for dryer and cooler weather in 2 weeks. See you then.

Too much rain again. We're postponing this Sunday's Duro, there's not enough time for the trails to dry up after all the rain in the past 7 days. 2nd rain date coming soon. 3rd time will be the charm!
