Anyone have any input on summer rubber? Curious to know what tires have shown good balance for riding. Specific to typical 26 x 80 rims and for our local riding terrain.

I have Husker DUs. Just enough tread for summer riding.
Husker Du front, Knard rear has worked well for me on hard pack trail
"Start and end at a brewery, and a very cool snow and Ice urban/cross country, lake ride in between with flasks ful of Krakin... YAH MON!!!!" - Vibrato
"Every one of you should ride a bike and be yourself. I really and truly believe that bikes make the world better, and that anyone who spends some time getting used to life on the saddle will find that it makes their life and the world that their life is locked to, better; in almost every way." -Gern Blanston, Surly Bikes
I've got some Kenda Juggs Pros 4" I'd sell. They're the lightest fat tire out there. Wouldn't run them in snow or mud, but good for hard pack.
Cool site I found: http://www.bicyclerollingresistance....-bike-reviews/
One of my fat bikes runs 4 inch tires. Which I just love in the summer. They?re 45 North Van Helgas. But I would love to run a 3.8 tire in the summer. I?ll probably do Terrene Cake Eaters that time around.
