Trail Day June 23rd, 2024

Let's clean up Westbrook trails! The grass is too tall and the honeysuckles are too aggressive. We need volunteers with line trimmers (we have a handheld line trimmer plus a DR trimmer available), hedge trimmers, loppers, rakes and just your hands. Trails have too much tall grass, honeysuckles creating face slappers, and general debris on the trails. Let's get together Sunday the 23rd! Meet in the parking lot at 8:00 a.m. to beat the heat. We'll make assignments at that time and hopefully make short work of getting all these trails in good riding condition. If you're not available Sunday but want to help, hit the trails this week and let us know what you've cleaned up. Big focus areas are 203, 204, 205 and 206 (especially at the north end near the drop). The rest of the trails are rideable but could use some general cleanup. If you run across any widowmakers post it here and our expert trail crew will clear them away. Thanks in advance!

I'll be there with a walk behind string trimmer and two of the battery power scythe trimmers. I'm going to start at 7:00 (possibly earlier) and will meet up with you at 8:00am. I'll start on the north section of 206.

the browns were out Thursday. Cleared 203, 101(between 203-204), and 204.
