2024 Dorrance Trail Trimming Status

It's that time of year again! If you have a couple hours to help, pick a section, or more than one ;), on the map below and go to town. We usually trim vegetation back at least 2 feet to each side of the trail. Leave any trees within this zone obviously. FORC has a handful of trimmers we can loan you. Post below if you need one and we can make arrangements. Once a section is completed, let us know so we can update this thread.

Recommended gear for trimming: Long pants/shirt, sturdy shoes, eye protection, bug head net, bug repellent, water/snack.

Planning to be at Dorrance tomorrow with 3 trimmers at 6pm. Trails won't be open for riding (wet) so come out and help maintain them instead!

FYI there was a few decent size branches down at Dorance but was able to manhandle them off the trail so it's all clear now.
