Illiniwek - Saturday 4/26 @ 8am.
Continuing with spring trail maintenance next Saturday at Illiniwek. Meeting in the main trailhead parking lot at 8:00 am.
Goals:
- Drainage improvements on back North Loop & smooth out sections where roots have been exposed.
- Repairs where uprooted tree has taken a chunk out of the trail on the North Descent.
- Repair trail near parking lot which has been washing away due to parking lot runoff.
Tools needed: Rogue hoes, flat shovels, hand tampers, and garden rakes (hard tine type), 1-2 extra wheelbarrows (I'm bringing 2). There will be an assortment of club tools available if you don't have your own.
Please RSVP here in this thread if you plan to attend since it helps us plan what work to tackle. We could really use a good turnout since the projects at hand are on the larger size.
